Hello sweet guys. I have to admit that this post is the result of a clash between my boyfriend and I. We have very different taste about almost everything, and when he’s fond of some pictures of me, you can be sure I won’t like them at all!
We all know that we, girls, can be stubborn and headstrong when we want, and nobody can even begin to change our minds! Therefore, as soon as I saw these pictures I thought “Awww how ugly am I here?”. I bet my boyfriend was disappointed, he liked them so much I almost didn’t know how to tell him that instead I didn’t.
I didn’t want to call into question his photographing abilities, he’s been amazing as always, I just wanted to to publish photos i actually liked myself in. So we came to a compromise, i removed some of the photos he had chosen and published the others anyway.
What do you think? who was right about these shots? ;)

E’ lo stesso problema che ho io col mio fidanzato/fotografo! Litighiamo per la stessa ragione ma poi alla fine è bello far pace e confrontarsi no? Indubbiamente lui ha un occhio fotografico migliore del mio ed è anche più obiettivo…mentre io sono ipercritica! Qui sei alla Rotonda della Besana giusto? Bella location! è un posto che adoro! baci,

Well, i don’t understand why you don’t like these pictures, they are very nice and you are very beautiful. Red fits you indeed so i must say that your boyfriend was right this time. I personally like a lot the jacket but also your bracelets. I think they are fantastic, really….
PS: you shouldn’t be so critic with yourself….. altough i must admit that i am extremely critic with myself because i believe that this is the only way i can improve my abilities but sometimes i am too tough with myself and that is not good at all… it leads to a loss in self confidence.
You don’t have any reasons to underestimate… so enjoy your beautiful life !!!!!

Vero, noi donne purtroppo siamo proprio fatte così, riusciamo spesso a vedere sempre la bellezza negli altri ma raramente riusciamo a vederla sempre in noi stesse, e siamo le prime ad essere ipercritiche nei nostri confronti. E’ anche vero che non si viene sempre bene in foto, ma non è il caso di questo post: le foto mi piacciono molto e mi piacciono tantissimo le scarpe, che abbinate alla calza scura e pesante ti allungano e slanciano ancora di più le gambe ;)

Sono bellissime Vero , come sempre.Certo ci sono foto che per qanto belle possono non piacerci , ma obiettivamente queste meritano di essere pubblicate.Sono semplici , senza molti fronzoli …io vedo te così.Sei splendida nellatua semplicità.Non so perchè ma per ogni photoshoot mi immagino una storia , aspiro a dinventare scrittrice da quando sono piccola da grande , magari non te ne freda , ma te lo dico lo stesso.Mi sembrano le foto di un ragazzo che è timido e si rifuga dietro un obiettivo.Un giorno vede questa ragazza , come ongi giorno dell sua vita da quando è piccolo , vicino all’università , lei nonoha mai filato, ma lui la fotografa sempre.Un giorno lui cade e le sue foto (quelle di questo post nella mia storia immaginata ) escono fuori da un fascicoleto , in quel momento passi la ragazza (tu) e le vede..di li inizia a parargl a chiedere il perchè di tutte quelle sue foto..lei è felice..è da quando è piccola che è innamorata di questo ragazzo , ma la sua indole timida e molto rmantica (anche se all’apparenza appare snob) le h impedito di dichiararsi…Alla fine i due parlano e parlano tanto quel giorno , fino a confesarsi di fronte a una tazza fumate di caffè (magari Sturbacks!).Questa è la storia che mi è venuta in mente..scusa per averti fatto prder tempo a legger quete mie inutili digressoni.

The location is wonderful! I love the shoes, the jacket and the vintage glamour your pictures always have. As you said we women can be very headstrong and sometimes, speaking about myself, very critical of ourself. However I think the picture are very beautiful and I really appreciate that you and your boyfriend can compromise, it shows how mature you guys are.

Non sono male queste foto, soprattutto le prime, le ultime due invece non mi convincono molto.
Lo zainetto lo usi sempre come fosse una borsetta o capita che lo metti nelle spalle?

I think your boyfriend is really good with photography, your pictures always come out amazing. But I know what you mean about choosing the photos in which you feel you look best at. Sometimes a photo can be perfect (location, focus, dof, everything basically) but our expression or the way we look just isn’t good enough for US and somehow only we can see in which photos we don’t look too good in that others don’t see and actually see it as beautiful. It could be a girl thing, who knows. But this is what I know and feel from my own experience as well as what I see in gorgeous friends.
But I must say, you do look good in these photos but know that I totally understand what you mean when you say that you don’t cause I get that too. I hope your boyfriend will come to understanding this somehow :)

Ho visto la stessa sacca di Chanel oggi alla Vintage selection, la mostra mercato del Vintage che si svolge a Firenze.. ma non ho avuto il coraggio di chiederne il costo! A me il rosso non piace molto ma devo ammettere che questo outfit è molto particolare ad ha sicuramente un sapore di altri tempi!

I love this outfit and you should listen to your boyfriend more often! ;) It’s sporty and bright and usually you’re refined and classic, except the color, you love color no matter how you’re dressed!
