Petra: the rose-red city

During my last day in Jordan with Louis Vuitton, I had the chance to visit the wonderful Petra.

Petra lies among the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba and it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.

I am not exaggerating when I say that I think is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life.it’s so special it’s almost surreal and I almost felt like I was in a Indiana Jones movie :)

If you want to make a trip to Jordan, Petra is a must, you will be fascinated by rock history and architecture of the place, the result of influences of various cultures and civilizations.

As you can see from my last picture, I found a friend :)

Durante il mio ultimo giorno di permanenza in Giordania con Louis Vuitton, ho avuto la splendida opportunità di visitare Petra.

Petra è un complesso archeologico che si estende  tra il Golfo di Aqaba e il Mar Morto a circa 3 ore di macchina da Amman. Appena arrivati, abbiamo percorso il primo tratto di strada con il calesse passando lungo il sentiero scavato nella roccia.

Non esagero se vi dico che penso che sia uno dei posti più belli che abbia mai visitato in vita mia, talmente particolare e surreale che sembrava di essere dentro un film di Indiana Jones :)

Nel caso in cui deciste di fare un viaggio in Giordania, ricordatevi che Petra è una tappa obbligatoria! Rimarrete affascinati dalla storia e dall’architettura rupestre del luogo, risultato delle influenze di varie culture e civilità.

Come potete vedere dall’ultima foto, ho anche avuto modo di fare amicizia con un simpaticissimo cammello ahah. Vi lascio alle foto, buona giornata e buon week-end a tutti.
