Fifth day of fashion week: I attended the Missoni and the Giorgio Armani fashion shows!

Both shows are among my favorites of fashion week in Milan.

Missoni has fascinated me with its look “evanescent” and its fantasies that seemed almost an optical illusion. The models seemed to walk on the runway without the force of gravity dressed up in their fluid and impalpable clothes.I really liked the shoes, which “trap” the ankles like cages and the accessories full of crystals.

Giorgio Armani entitled his collection Kaleidoscope. It’s elegant in design yet eccentric in concept as chic craftsmanship married futuristic fabrics on the catwalk. The fluidity of the layered fabrics created an otherworldly effect as the models walked down the runway, touching back down to earth with harder finishing touches like masculine metallic brogues and squared off handbags.
I loved this collection!!

Penultimo giorno di fashion week: ho assistito alla sfilata di Missoni e a quella di Giorgio Armani.

Entrambe  le sfilate si annoverano tra le mie preferite della fashion week milanese.

Missoni mi ha affascinato con i suoi look “evanescenti” e con le sue fantasie che parevano quasi illusioni ottiche. Le modelle sembrava avanzassero senza forza di gravità sulla passerella nei loro abiti fluidi e impalpabili. Splendide le scarpe, che “intrappolano” le caviglie come gabbie e gli accessori tempestati di cristalli.

Giorgio Armani intitola la sua collezione  ”Kaleidoscope” ed la costruisce su 3 colori fondamentali: grigio, turchese e nero tendente al blu scuro. «Potevo cadere nella drammaticità, ma pur avendo fatto una collezione tutta di pezzi importanti l’ho trasformata in abiti moderni e attuali, meno presuntuosa», dice Giorgio Armani. Gli abiti sono sovrapposti a pantaloni in organza e le misure sono allungate, come le gonne che arrivano sotto al ginocchio. La fluidità dei tessuti crea una sorta di effetto “ultraterreno”, ripreso anche dalle fantasie degli abiti che ricordano le galassie e le costellazioni. Una collezione che fa semplicemente sognare.
