Milan fashion week: day 4

Fourth day of Milan fashion week spent around Milan with my friend and blogger Nicoletta on the new Classe A that Mercedes borrowed me for the Milan Fashion Week.

The day had a really good start with a wonderful make-up realized by Luigi, Diego dalla Palma make-up artist. Then I went to attend the Frankie Morello and Pucci fashion show and the Coccinelle presentation.

Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti for their parade have been inspired by the ballet costumes by Oskar Schlemmer mixed with the atmosphere of wrestling. We see a triumph of colors: blue, green and cyclamen paired with ocher and pale colors. Pants and top from sporty appeal, combined with maxi belts, clean shapes, shiny fabrics and metallic colors: these are the main ingredients of the runway.

My second and last fashion show of the day was Pucci: touched with the quiet opulence of Indochina, the Pucci girl emerges with her strenght on the inside and a fresh coat of serenity on the outside. Shees tunics, layered over diaphanous chiffon trousers, sleeveless tops and silk crepe dressed, create a graphic effect.Light touches of decadence materialize for evening where hand painted gold dragons are re-embroidered onto silk crepe for a gilded effect. It was my first Pucci fashion show and I must say I’m in love with this brand and it was such an emotion!

Quarto giorno di Milan fashion week, trascorso a bordo della Classe A che Mercedes ci ha prestato per questa settimana e in compagnia della mia Nicoletta.

La giornata è iniziata benissimo, con un make-up da favola realizzato da Luigi nello studio di Diego dalla Palma. Ho poi assistito alle sfilate di Frankie Morello e Pucci e alla presentazione di Coccinelle.

Maurizio Modica e Pierfrancesco Gigliotti per la loro sfilata si sono ispirati ai costumi del balletto di Oskar Schlemmer mixati con le atmosfere del wrestling. Vediamo quindi un trionfo di colori: blu, verde e il ciclamino abbinati all’ocra e color carne. Pantaloni e top dal richiamo sportivo, abbinati a maxi cinturoni da campioni, forme pulite, tessuti lucidi e metallizzati: ecco gli ingredienti principali della passerella.

La mia seconda e ultima sfilata del giorno è stata Pucci. Per la prossima primavera/estate 2013 il direttore creativo di Pucci, Peter Dundas, si è ispirato all’Indocina e nella ragazza “Pucci” emerge una grande forza interiore e un’immagine di serenità quieta all’esterno. Chimoni, draghi e ricami di netta ispirazione cinese sono uniti a tinte e colori sobri che vincono sulle stampe.

E’ stata la mia prima sfilata di Pucci e devo dire che ero davvero emozionata. La location poi era semplicemente fantastica…
