Milan fashion week: day 1

During the first day of the Milan fashion week I was wearing a light blue and white outfit and I attended my first two fashion shows of the season: Richmond and Alberta Ferretti.

For the next spring/summer 2013 season, John Richmond led the 50s in the twenty-first century. We still see a large presence of the peplum jackets, corsets and dresses. Accessories are rigorously gold and the main colors of the dresses are are white,black, red “bardot”, blue and champagne. The mood is sensual and feminine, without losing  class and elegance. My favorite piece? The red trench, used like a dress.

While a mega-screen projected silently moving water, Alberta Ferretti models came down to the runway in their beautiful dresses looking like mermaids.

The colors ranged from pearly white to sea green and blue. The light fabric was adorned with sequins or with dainty lace. Sheer nude tulle contribued to create the mermaid effect.

Richmond per la prossima primavera/estate ha portato gli anni ’50 nel ventunesimo secolo. Vediamo ancora una grande presenza del peplo su giacche, corsetti e abiti. Gli accessori sono rigorosamente dorati e i colori degli abiti sono netti, i principali sono bianco, nero, rosso “bardot “, blu e champagne. Il mood è sensuale e femminile, senza perdere di vista la classe e l’eleganza. Il mio capo preferito? Il trench rosso, da usare rigorosamente come dress.

Mentre uno schermo  in sottofondo proiettava acqua in movimento, le modelle di Alberta Ferretti, come creature quasi impalpabili, sfilavano nei loro splendidi abiti.

I colori degli abiti vanno dallo champagne, all’acquamarina, al blu. Gli abiti sono talvolta adornati da paillettes o micro perline e vi è una grande presenza di pizzo, sottile e leggero. Tutto sembra riportare all’immagine delle sirene: stupende, sinuose e femminili.
