Milan Fashion Week day 1

A bit late, here’s my first day of Milan fashion week, during which I attended the Paola Frani and the Alberta Ferretti fashion shows.

Paola Frani has been a pleasant surprise. To the usual white shades there have been added some stronger and fluorescent colors. The dresses were decorated with sequins and beads, both for the day for the evening. The clothes were very feminine and the dresses were made of silk and macramé.

Alberta Ferretti was wonderful as usual: black and white for the evening embellished with embroideries and sequins. For the day, instead , there were a lot of African-inspired tribal prints and some dresses in chiffon in such a very strong colors as orange, red, green. There were also a lot of transparencies and geometric cuts. One of my favorite shows until now.

Talking about my outfit, I opted for a pair of matalassè shorts and jacket( both from Pinko) combined with pink shirt and pink shoes.

Un po’ in ritardo, ecco la mia prima giornata della Milan fashion week durante la quale ho assistito alle sfilate di Paola Frani e Alberta Ferretti.

Paola Frani è stata una piacevole scoperta. Al bianco si sono aggiunte nuances più forti e colori fluo. Gli abiti erano decorati da paillettes e perline, sia per il giorno che per la sera. Gli abiti dalle linee fluide e molto femminili scivolavano sui corpi ed erano in seta organza e macramé.

Alberta Ferretti come al solito è stata meravigliosa: bianco e nero per la sera impreziositi da ricami e paillettes. Per il giorno invece stampe etniche di ispirazione africana e abiti in chiffon dai colori molto decisi come arancio, rosso, verde. Giochi di trasparenze e tagli geometrici. Una delle mie sfilate preferite fino ad adesso.

Per quanto riguarda il mio outfit, ho optato per pantaloncini e giacca matalassè di Pinko e un tocco di colore dato dalle scarpe e dalla camicia in seta di Tibi.
