LV Champs-Élysées

During the last day spent in Paris we visited the huge store of Louis Vuitton located on the Champs-Elysees.We arrived before the store opened its doors to the public. After a private tour we went up in the “Haute Joaillerie” section and we were able to attend a lesson about the ‘”art of packing“, really useful for me that I never get anything to fit in my suitcase:)

In the afternoon we were also accompanied on the top floor of the building to visit the Louis Vuitton Espace Culturel. If you happen to go to Paris I will highly recommend it because, besides being completely free and open to the public, you will always find some interesting installations created by various contemporary artists . You’ll go up by an elevator called ”purifying” because it’s completely dark and soundproof. It’s used to clear your mind before visiting the exhibition. When we visited it the main topic of the exhibition was the music, unfortunately I could not take photos but I assure you it’s really worth to see it.

From the terrace surrounding the espace then you can enjoy a beautiful view of Paris.

Durante l’ultimo giorno trascorso a Parigi abbiamo visitato l’enorme store di Louis Vuitton situato negli  Champs-Élysées. Siamo arrivati prima che il negozio aprisse le porte al pubblico. Dopo una visita guidata siamo poi saliti nella sezione “ Haute Joaillerie” e abbiamo potuto assistere a una lezione sull’ “art of packing“, davvero utile per me che non riesco mai a far stare niente in valigia :)

Nel pomeriggio siamo poi stati accompagnati all’ultimo piano dell’edificio Louis Vuitton a visitare l’Espace Culturel. Se vi capita di andare a Parigi ve lo consiglio vivamente perchè, oltre ad essere completamente gratuito e aperto al pubblico,  troverete sempre delle interessanti installazioni create da vari artisti emergenti e contemporanei. Vi si arriva con un ascensore denominato “purificatorio” completamente buio e insonorizzato che serve a liberare la mente prima di visitare la mostra. In questo momento le opere sono tutte a tema “musicale”. Purtroppo non ho potuto scattare foto ma vi assicuro che vale veramente la pena di fare un salto.

Dal terrazzo che circonda l’espace potrete poi godere di una splendida vista su Parigi.
