Yesterday evening we went to the re-opening of the Louis Vuitton flagship store in Via Montenapoleone. As I told you before, the store has been projected by the architect Peter Marino and there are some amazing spaces like the Travel Room and some exclusive services like the “Made to Order Shoes” and the “Haute Maroquinerie”.
After our visit at the store, we went to the Triennale for the opening ceremony of the “Art of fashion” exhibition, realized by the journalist and English stylist Katie Grand as a tribute to Marc Jacobs.
She had free access to all collections of the last 13 years of Marc Jacobs , and she has composed 30 looks using his fall/ winter collections from the ’98 to now.

Ieri sono stata invitata alla riapertura del flagship store di Louis Vuitton in via Montenapoleone. Come vi ho detto nel post precedente, il negozio è stato progettato dall’architetto Peter Marino secondo uno stile che lui definisce “residenziale”.
Il negozio ha alcune caratteristiche esclusive che lo rendono unico come la Travel Room e alcuni servizi come il “Made to Order Shoes” e l’ “Haute Maroquinerie”.
Dopo la visita al negozio siamo andati in Triennale per l’inaugurazione della mostra “Art of fashion” realizzata dalla giornalista e stilista inglese Katie Grand come omaggio a Marc Jacobs.
Katie ha avuto accesso a tutte le collezioni degli ultimi 13 anni di Marc Jacobs, e ha composto 30 look usando i suoi capi delle collezioni autunno/inverno dal ’98 ad oggi.

Pretty photos ! Very cool you got to meet Marc Jacobs. Was he friendly ? I’m a big fan of his label, must have been interesting to see his past collections again and compare with fashion now.

I saw this skirt at Zara the other day. Bold and fun though rather tricky to wear. You put together yet another gorgeous outfit! The clutch bag is so lovely. Overall very high fashion!
