Lineapelle in Bologna

As I already told you on Twitter, on tuesday and wednesday I attended the Lineapelle fair in Bologna.

Launched in 1981, it has become the most important international exhibition of leather and accessories, components, synthetics for footwear, leather goods, garments and furniture. The event takes place twice a year, in April for the summer and in October for the winter collections, at the Bologna exhibition centre.

At the end of our visit we had the chance to choose our favorite leather to realize an accessory designed by us. I decided to go with a bag, and I can’t wait to show you the final result!

I shared this beautiful experience with my beloved fellow travellers (Filippo, Irene, Nicoletta) and a lot of other italian and international bloggers! It was a really interesting experience and I can tell you in advance that the colours for 2013 will be dominated by pale shades, soft and de-saturated, while a few strong colors will be matched with white.

Come vi avevo anticipato su Twitter, martedì e mercoledì sono stata invitata alla fiera Lineapelle a Bologna.

La fiera, che si svolge due volte l’anno, è di fatto una rassegna internazionale di pelli, accessori, modelli per calzature ed arredamento. In quest’occasione in particolare venivano presentate le tendenze dei tessuti per la prossima primavera/estate. Al termine della nostra visita abbiamo potuto scegliere alcuni pellami tra quelli esposti per creare un accessorio, disegnato a nostro piacimento. Io ho deciso di orientarmi su una borsa e spero di riuscire a mostrarvi presto la realizzazione della mia idea :)

A condividere con me quest’esperienza c’erano, oltre ai miei ormai fedeli compagni di avventura Irene, Filippo e Nicoletta, molti altri blogger sia italiani che internazionali. E’ stato davvero interessante scoprire qualcosa in più sul vastissimo universo del pellame. Posso anticiparvi che la prossima estate i colori saranno tenui, quasi slavati, e i pochi colori “decisi” li vedremo accostati al bianco.
