In Jordan with Louis Vuitton

First day of my Jordan experience with Louis Vuitton. I was invited together with some journalists and international bloggers to Amman, to attend the opening of LV’s new store.

During our first day we visited the city, and I was especially impressed by the Roman amphitheater, situated in the western part of Amman, and by Jabal al-Qal’a, also known as the Amman Citadel, which is a historic site in the center of downtown full of Roman, Byzantine and Islamic ruins.

Standing on top of the Citadel we could enjoy a splendid view of most of the city, which is really fascinating, full of contrasts, lively and active.

After these visits we went to the French embassy, where we were received by Corinne Breuzé, the embassador, by Lina Mola, international director of SOS Children’s Villages, and by Yves Carcelle, Louis Vuitton’s CEO. LV announced its new 4-year long partnership with SOS Children’s Villages. This international charity is already active in 133 different regions, and it has been supporting children in developing countries since 1949, providing education and other important services.

I’ll soon talk to you about the store opening too, and I can’t wait to show you the pictures! I’ll leave you with some other pics of Amman and the event at the embassy, hoping you’ll like them!
