Fourth day of the fashion week in Milan: a presentation by Trussardi and the Philipp Plein fashion show.
As you can see in these photos, Trussardi chose to use some animalier prints in his Spring/Summer 2011 collection: ankle-long trousers, blouses, tops, overalls and even shoes with laces to the ankles are animated by this type of prints. The other important element seems to be leather, used in different places in his jackets and to make mini dresses, which are then enriched by lace. A really amazing collection, which made me re-discover a Trussardi which I didn’t know at all. The women by Trussardi for the upcoming spring is a women which faces the “urban jungle” with elegance and confidence.
After the presentation, I went with Nicoletta (the scent of obsession) to the Philipp Plein fashion show. It took place in an unexpected location: a deconsecrated church.
At the entrance we are given a black leather bracelet, with an enormous skull in the middle, which we will need to get to the catwalk. After an aperitif (which I would call a dinner, based on the hour of the day) with salmon, shrimps and champagne, the fashion show begins. Skulls, studs and Swarovskis seem to be the main protagonists of the next Spring/Summer, according to the stylist. The models, all with their hairs combed in a chignon, had the cheeks covered in sparkling diamonds.
Except for a few items which I really liked, the entire collection seemed to be characterized by already-seen traits, sometimes bording on the garish. Names written in Swarovskis on the back of some dresses, skulls printed on jeans, net-like fabrics really don’t fit my usual tastes. However, I appreciate the fact that the stylist found a way to emphasize the femininity and sensuality of the woman through the clothes he created, giving a very “femme fatale” look to his models.

Quarta giornata della fashion week milanese: presentazione Trussardi e sfilata di Philipp Plein.
Come potete vedere dalle foto, i tessuti della collezione primavera/estate 2011 di Trussardi sono stampati con motivi animalier: pantaloni alla caviglia, bluse, top, tute e perfino scarpe con lacci alle caviglie sono tutti animati da questo tipo di stampe. E’ evidente anche la copiosa presenza della pelle, utilizzata come inserto nelle giacche e per creare mini dress, impreziositi in seguito da applicazioni in pizzo. Una collezione meravigliosa, che mi ha fatto riscoprire un Trussardi che non conoscevo. La donna Trussardi per la prossima primavera è una donna che sfida la “giungla urbana” con eleganza e sicurezza.
Dopo la presentazione, io e Nicoletta (the scent of obsession) siamo corse alla sfilata di Philipp Plein. La location era anomala: una chiesa sconsacrata.
All’entrata ci viene consegnato un bracciale in pelle nera con un enorme teschio al centro, che servirà per accedere all’area riservata alla sfilata. Dopo un aperitivo (che chiamerei cena, vista l’ora) a base di salmone, gamberetti e prosecco, si dà il via al fashion show. Teschi, borchie e Swarovski sembrano essere i protagonisti della prossima primavera/estate secondo lo stilista. Le modelle, tutte rigorosamente con i capelli raccolti a chignon, hanno le guance cosparse di diamantini luccicanti.
Tranne alcuni capi che ho apprezzato, per il resto mi sono sembrate proposte già viste e riviste, a tratti davvero pacchiane. Scritte in Swarovski sul retro dei vestiti, teschi stampati sui jeans, tessuti a rete proprio non rientrano nei miei gusti. Nonostante questo apprezzo il fatto che lo stilista sappia sempre valorizzare al massimo la femminilità e la sensualità della donna attraverso i suoi capi, rendendola una vera e propria “femme fatale”.

molto bello il tuo resoconto di queste sfilate, non hai paura a esprimere un tuo giudizio personale, senza dover quindi per forza elogiare una collezione che magari non ti piace solo perchè di un grande marchio. sinceramente mi è dispiaciuto vedere come invece quella che è considerata la più grande blogger di moda italiana e icona di stile sembri non avere affatto un pensiero suo, apprezzando qualsiasi capo e collezione e lasciandosi un pò condizionare dalla firma.
