Here there are the pictures from my experience at Fabi‘s factory.

It has been very interesting to see some of the steps of their production process, which are still very traditional. In the pictures you can see the leather cutting, the assembling (both upper and last), the heel scouring, the quality control and the packaging. The staff carefully oversees every step, and their experience and dedication make Fabi‘s products very high-quality ones.

It was also nice to get to know those who work in the “style” department, the ones literally “inventing” the new models. You can see a few sketches of the shoes in the photos too. The last pictures were taken next to the factory, in their flagship store, which sells Fabi’s shoes, but also handbags, clothing and jewelry.

Ecco le foto della mia esperienza di qualche giorno fa presso le industrie di Fabi.

E’ stato molto interessante vedere la filiera produttiva, ancora molto artigianale. Nelle foto potete vedere i pellami, la giunteria, il fissaggio tomaia e forma, la pomiciatura dei tacchi, il controllo qualità e l’inscatolatura. Ogni passaggio viene eseguito scrupolosamente dallo staff, ed è proprio questo che conferisce la qualità ai prodotti.

E’ stato bello anche conoscere chi lavora nel reparto “stile”, ovvero chi, letteralmente, inventa i modelli. Potete vedere qualche schizzo nelle foto. Le ultime sono state scattate nel flagship accanto alla fabbrica. Oltre alle scarpe Fabi produce anche borse, abbigliamento e gioielli.
